Join us for Lokal’s first-ever casual gluten-free speed dating event during the Lokal Gluten-Free Market at the Marda Loop Community Hall.

This is meant to be casual, relaxed and low-pressure. No formal dating-event atmosphere — just a fun way to meet new people who understand what it’s like to live gluten free.

The Lokal Gluten-Free Market runs from 10 AM–3 PM on October 19th, and the speed dating session begins at 11 AM.

Please arrive a little early. When you enter the market, let the greeter at the door know you are there for the speed dating event. They will let you know where to go.

How it works

Participants will have approximately 4 minutes with up to 10 partners of the opposite sex. After each mini date, you’ll rotate to the next person.

This event is intended for individuals who are celiac, gluten intolerant, or otherwise live a gluten-free lifestyle.

Important Notes

This is Lokal’s first trial speed dating event, so we’re keeping things simple and seeing how the community responds.

We will do our best to balance the number of men and women participating, but an equal number of participants is not guaranteed. Depending on registration numbers, you may have fewer than 10 dates or may have a short break during one or more rotations.

If fewer than 5 total participants register for the speed dating session, the event will be cancelled and ticket holders will be refunded.

The Lokal Gluten-Free Market itself is free to attend. Your $10 ticket is specifically for participation in the speed dating session.

If this first event sells out and goes well, we plan to introduce additional speed dating times, other dating categories and speed dating events at future Lokal Gluten-Free Markets.
